The Reprogrammed Systems Models of Healthy Decision Making

Making healthy decisions is challenging due to the complex nature of your human body combined with the even more complex interaction between your body and your behavior.

Still, it's important that we find a way to be able to understand how our behavior impacts the health of our bodies, which is why I've been putting together a series of models to help us out.

The following models look at healthy behavior from a series of perspectives. My hope is that they can serve you to better understand how your decisions impact the health of your body, including how you feel today (do you have the energy, the mental clarity, and the physical ability to take on today?) along with the progression of poor health and disease over years and decades to come.

As for this page, I use the models as my own way of thinking through the topic that is all things related to healthy decision making. These models evolve over time as I continuously update them based on my current research and experiences.

A current project of mine involves going back through these models that I began developing back in 2017, and making updates based on my current understanding of healthy decision-making.

Know that these thoughts are my own and are based on my study of the human body for the past decade. Of course, I will always do my best to provide reference to studies and other texts to give credit where it's due and to also give you the opportunity to go read for yourself and make your own conclusions about the health of the human body.

All that to say - consider this page a continuously evolving series of models that you can use to help develop your own understanding of healthy decision-making.
