Contrary to current nutrition and health wisdom, the human body is no passive structure that responds linearly to the decisions that we decide are best for it. Rather, the body is a complex, biological machine made up of dynamic systems that combine as a network to create your state of health.
This is in contrast to simple, linear frameworks that have traditionally been used to approach health-related problems. These approaches oversimplify the entirety of the system at play, choosing to focus only on a handful of variables - ones that are often chosen because they are easily measured and manipulated.
To effectively understand and address the problems that arise out of this complex, dynamic system, there is a need to approach these problems with a broader scope - one that is made up of more than one perspective - to effectively capture the complexity at play.
The Reprogrammed Systems Models are frameworks based on different perspectives that I have found to be useful for understanding the complex system that is the human body including the impact of our decisions on its overall functioning.
With an understanding of these models, my hope is that you can go on with your life making healthy decisions aligned with your body's design - decisions that will allow you to live a long, healthy life.

Below is the series I wrote as I developed The Reprogrammed Systems Models. This series will give you greater insight into my thought process as I first understood the inner workings of the human body, and then tied these inner workings into our decisions.
Part I - Understanding The Models
Follow me as I take you through the design of the Reprogrammed Systems Model. Here we will take the time to understand the overall structure of the model, along with the internal mechanisms at work. This includes a discussion on the underlying mechanisms driving modern disease, along with the core mechanism driving the dysfunction.

A Missing Link - The Core Driver of Modern Disease
Energy Dysregulation - Understanding the Underlying Mechanisms
Summary - Understanding Internal Mechanisms Driving Modern Disease
Part II - Using The Models
Once you have understood the internal mechanisms driving the progression of modern disease, I encourage you to take some time to understand how your choices directly influence this progression. Here I will take you through some of the key dietary and behavioral inputs that tie into the underlying mechanisms driving modern disease.
