The Reprogrammed Systems Approach

A New Approach to Making Sense of Healthy Living

In a world overwhelmed with information and competing ideas for what is truly healthiest for all of us, I created a new way to think about how our day-to-day choices impact each of our own states of health:

  • how we feel on a daily basis: energy levels, mental clarity, pain, physical abilities
  • our risk of developing a disease diagnosis down the road

The Reprogrammed Systems Approach to Healthier Living is about learning to make healthier decisions for your own self - mind & body - with a holistic approach grounded in systems biology and engineering.

I know, bringing holistic health to science & engineering?! What on Earth does this girl think she's doing?!!

Stick with me here, and if you do, I will bet that you will walk away with a new perspective that enables you to make healthier decisions, and to do so with less stress and more space to be your, unique self.

The Your Health, Reprogrammed Membership Program is my favorite space to work with you as you take the principles outlined here in The Approach and apply them in your own life.

Take Control of Your Health

Your decisions - carried out via your behavior - significantly determine your state of health, including how you feel on a day-to-day basis (i.e., the energy, mental clarity, and physical capabilities you have) along with your risk of developing any disease diagnoses.

Now, I know. Sometimes bad luck strikes and we are forced to deal with health problems. Traumatic events happen. Gene mutations occur. Environmental toxins exist. There will always be factors that impact our health that we didn't choose.

Of course, there is also the significant factor that has to do with socioeconomic factors and access to healthy options.

What we don't often consider, though, is that much of the time our state of health is a direct result of our personal choices.

While you may not have full control over your health outcomes, chances are that if you look closely at what you are capable of, you actually have a significant ability to live a life supported by a healthy body, one that provides you with stable energy, mental clarity, and the physical ability to take on each day.

That's what health means to me, and I'm here to share it with you!

The Reprogrammed Systems Approach to Healthy Living

The Reprogrammed Systems Approach (RSA) is a framework I developed to help us understand how our decisions impact the health of our bodies, including the direct effects along with the downstream, progressive impact.

The idea is simple: if we can move away from the common culture that is a life spent making unhealthy decisions and instead embrace healthy decision-making, then we can move forward on a path of good health.

In turn, we get to enjoy all that having strong and stable energy, mental clarity, and strong physical capabilities enable us to do in this one precious life!

Here's how:

I developed The Reprogrammed Systems Approach to help us each make healthier decisions for our own bodies. To accomplish this, we need to take on two key pieces:

  1. Understand what the healthy decision may be
  2. Get ourselves to take aligned action with this knowledge

Both pieces are essential, but the two pieces are separate skills.

The RSA will help you accomplish both so that you can become a truly healthier individual.

Even better, as you put the RSA into practice over time, you'll find that there is an extra special piece:

  • We learn even more about ourselves as we take action, learn from lessons, and continuously move forward through our own unique health journeys

The Reprogrammed Systems Approach begins with a greater understanding.
